Almost everyone has a pair of sneakers with a white sole. The white sole eventually gets dirty or smears appear. And if you have not taken the correct precautions, it will be difficult to properly clean the white sole. But there are certainly possibilities! You can clean your white soles with toothpaste!

The necessities;

  • Toothpaste.
  • (An old) toothbrush.
  • Small container with lukewarm water.
  • 2 x Clean cloth.

The steps to clean the soles.

< ul>
  • Step 1 Wet the sole of the sneaker. This way the toothpaste grips well on the sole.
  • Step 2 Spread the toothpaste on the toothbrush. After this you brush the toothpaste on the damp white sole. Spread it well so that it starts to foam. Grab all the small corners and holes so that it becomes uniformly white everywhere.
  • Step 3 Let the sneaker stand for 5 to 10 minutes. This way it can all work nicely.
  • Step 4 Rinse the sneaker under the tap with lukewarm water or grab a damp cloth to remove the toothpaste.
  • < li> Step 5 Wipe the entire sole with a second (slightly) damp cloth. Do not use a bone dry cloth, the toothpaste is a bit sticky immediately after the treatment and will therefore leave small substances on the sole.

    When you have completed the steps you will see a clear result. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can always repeat the steps again. This method is also effective on yellowed sneaker soles and even the top of your sneakers can be treated this way when they are made of white leather!
